Warren Hatch. This class is designed for photographers of all levels who want to elevate their skills by leveraging PhotoPills’ tools to predict, plan, and execute incredible shots with accuracy. You’ll explore the app’s features, including sun and moon tracking, Milky Way and star trails planning, hyperfocal distance, exposure settings, and more. In this hands-on course, you'll learn to:
- Use the Planner tool to visualize sun, moon, and Milky Way positions at any location.
- Understand key photography principles for landscape, astrophotography, and cityscape shots using augmented reality.
- Plan dramatic sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and Milky Way scenes with precise timing and positioning.
- Calculate the perfect settings for depth of field, time-lapse, and long exposures.
- Utilize hyperfocal distance for sharp, detailed landscapes.
- Incorporate creative techniques like double exposures, silhouettes, and more for impactful images.
