Breakfast recipes are an essential for anyone’s repertoire in the kitchen. And eggs are the ultimate breakfast staple that offers the right mix of healthy nutrients so you start your day feeling satisfied. It may seem easy to whip up a simple scrambled or fried egg or throw together an omelet, but when it comes to creating delicious breakfast dishes that feature eggs as an ingredient, you can easily screw them up. And that's ok—we're not all experts in the kitchen. Luckily, though, Chef Paul Santaularia has mad teaching skills and knows the proper tips and techniques to help you up your egg game in the breakfast department as he walks you through some great breakfast dishes. [Fun fact: Did you know that the hundred folds in a chefs toque (that tall, pleated hat that chefs wear) represent the hundred ways to cook an egg? Fact. See? You've already learned something new about the egg!] In this class you’ll learn and then test your skills as Chef Paul gives you a bowlful of eggs and has you cook them 8 different ways. You heard me. Eight. Different. Ways. (Whoa…that’s a lotta eggs, but practice is eggs-actly what you need to become a better breakfast cook right?) He’ll even demonstrate how to create the elegant brunch dish, Eggs Benedict with its fancy Hollandaise Sauce, which is a recipe that, as they say, can be ‘a hard egg to crack!’ We’ll get to taste this dish as we celebrate our new egg-cooking skills. Avoid a morning meal that ends up in the trashcan or maybe just make your current ‘egg situation’ a little more delicious. Join us for this game-changing class that will take you from ‘egghead’ to ‘eggs-ellent’ in your kitchen. (Ok we'll stop now with the egg references. It sure was fun though.)
