- Age appropriate knife skills.
- Introduction to basic cooking equipment.
- Cooking techniques and temperature control.
- Working with raw meat, skewering kabobs, grilling technique, salad assembly *Day 1
- Making and stretching pizza dough. Two ways to make pizza. *Day 2
- Making, cutting, and cooking fresh pasta dough. Meatball preparation and cooking. *Day 3
- Making corn tortillas from scratch. Knife skills for salsa. Making choux paste for churros. *Day 4
- Preparing wet batter for fish. Deep frying technique. Making tartar sauce. *Day 5
Kitchen appropriate attire is mandatory. Please make sure your camper is wearing closed-toe shoes, capris or pants, and has their hair tied back.
