🍔 Day 1: Getting Ready for Summer with Burgers, Kabobs, & Caesar Salad (Monday)
🍕 Day 2: Hand-Tossed Pizza in the Pizzaiolo (Tuesday)
🍝 Day 3: Fresh Egg Pasta with Meatballs & Tomato Sauce (Wednesday, August 21st)
🌮 Day 4: Tacos, Tacos, Tacos! + Churros & Salsa (Thursday, August 22nd)
🍟 Day 5: Fish n' Chips with Coleslaw, Mushy Peas, Tartar Sauce (Friday, August 23rd)
Dietary Note: The recipes contain gluten, dairy, meat, and eggs. Substitutions are not available. Lakehouse Kitchens is not a nut-free environment.

- Kitchen safety and cleanliness.
- Age appropriate knife skills.
- Introduction to basic cooking equipment.
- Cooking techniques and temperature control.
- Working with raw meat, skewering kabobs, grilling technique, salad assembly *Day 1
- Making and stretching pizza dough. Two ways to make pizza. *Day 2
- Making, cutting, and cooking fresh pasta dough. Meatball preparation and cooking. *Day 3
- Making corn tortillas from scratch. Knife skills for salsa. Making choux paste for churros. *Day 4
- Preparing wet batter for fish. Deep frying technique. Making tartar sauce. *Day 5
The Fine Print
- Kitchen appropriate attire is mandatory. Please make sure your camper is wearing closed-toed shoes or socks and sandals, and has their hair tied back.
- Campers will be having their creations for lunch - our program is designed for the campers to enjoy the fruits of their labour; therefore, you aren't required to pack them any snacks or lunch (yay!).
- It is recommended they bring a reusable water bottle to fill at our water stations throughout the day.
- We know you love photos of how much fun your camper had. At the end of the week, we'll send you a link to download photos from camp (excluding campers who do not wish to be photographed).
