New year, new you! Take control of your health in this new year by diving head first into the Mediterranean diet. Executive Chef Gary Hild is your guide for this healthy-focused class. Chef Gary’s interest in nutrition and a healthy lifestyle is expressed in a broad range of cooking styles. Tonight Chef Gary is demonstrating a Mediterranean menu, sharing expert health and wellness tips that will broaden and expand your culinary skills to make meals that are exquisite in taste and beneficial in health.
Your Mediterranean adventure starts with an appetizer of Chickpea and Edamame Fritters with Tahini Sauce. This spin on the traditional Falafel adds an extra health kick and plenty of spices. Chef Gary will also show you how simple tahini sauce can be. Next we have Lemon Basil Chicken. Garlic, basil, and lemon give this easy grilled chicken a fresh and light flavoring that is versatile is so many ways for a variety of different meals. We're pairing this with a fresh Tzatziki sauce that comes together in minutes- thick Greek yogurt, cucumber, lemon and herbs make this a great dipping sauce with pita or vegetables or as a even as a flavor enhancement for fish or chicken.
Our star of the show tonight- Steamed Mussels with Prosciutto is going to become your next favorite dinner party staple. Chef Gary breaks down everything you need to know about cooking with mussels- it is way easier than you think! Last, it wouldn't be a Chef Gary class without a light and sweet finish- a Flourless Almond and Olive Oil Cake rounds out our night of mouthwatering Mediterranean cuisine.

Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance.
