Class Description: 
Sign up today for this fun class specially designed for adults and kids (ages 9+) where you each will learn how to decorate a Valentine-themed cake to take home just in time to celebrate Valentine’s Day!  Won’t you be fancy?  This introductory pastry arts class will start by exploring cake deco basics like the importance of crumb-coating, leveling, prepping and more. Then the decorating fun begins as cake decorator extraordinaire Rachel Van Stratton, shows you how to use Buttercream Icing, decorator bags and her four favorite beginner tips as she demonstrates stars, rosettes, and shell borders. And that’s not all…. Rachel will also teach some of her favorite filling options to take your cakes over the top. Yum! It will all come together as each of you create your very own unique decorated cake with a sweet Valentine’s Day design. Plus, Rachel will have a super cute Sprinkles Station set up to add some extra sparkle to your cake creations. With all the tricks and tips that you'll learn today, not only will you leave with a sweet decorated mini cake, you’ll also be sent off with the confidence and know-how to use the cake decorating techniques you’ve learned today for any special occasion. This is the same class as the cake decorating class being offered on the morning of 02/10, it's just a repeat session.

* Each child (9-17) must be accompanied by a registered adult (18+) and both participants must register for a seat.  When registering for 2 people, you must select 2 seats.

NOTES:

• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund. 
• This is a class that any adult or child aged at least 9 years old may register.   
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes.
• Your registration tells us that you have read through the class description including the age requirements for that particular class.
• Unless otherwise noted in the class description, all adult classes include one glass of beer or wine. Additional alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. 
• Our Kitchen Shop Experience™ will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
