Charity FNM with Cassius Marsh!

We’re approaching the end of Modern Horizons preview season and the excitement level for this set is getting dangerously high. New cross-format staples, new Modern archetypes, Slivers and Ninjas and Bears, oh my! So you want to play it? How about playing it with Seattle Seahawks’ Defensive End Cassius Marsh and spellslingers from Magic: The Gathering R&D? What if we threw in special prizes and all proceeds went to the Ballard Boys and Girls Club? Seemed like a pretty good idea to us, too. 

On June 14 at Mox Boarding House Bellevue, Card Kingdom and Wizards of the Coast are partnering to host a charity Modern Horizons sealed FNM! The event will start with an attendee meet and greet with Cassius at 5:30 p.m. with the tournament firing at 6:15 p.m. Entry fee is $50 and every dollar we raise for the event will go straight to the teen programs at the Ballard Boys and Girls Club.

Each match win earns you a pack of Modern Horizons, and we’ve got a few surprises in store for tournament winners and those skilled enough to topple the night’s special guests. Everyone at CK is so excited to work with Boys and Girls Clubs of King County for this event. Boys and Girls Clubs help millions of kids across the country and their affiliate in our neck of the woods, Boys and Girls Clubs of King County, has helped hundreds of thousands find their voice. The work they do to help so many young people is truly inspiring (Plus, they’ve got a weekly Magic: The Gathering club, how cool is that?)
