Day 2

Fresh Corn Tortillas: Made with masa, classic Mexican staples
Pico de Gallo: Chunky, fresh tomato salsa
Day 3
Poutine: Our version of the Canadian classic made with oven roasted steak fries, cheese curds and gravy
Nanaimo Bars: Rich, chocolate, + coconut Canadian delicacy
Blueberry Granola Yogurt Parfait: Highlighting the ubiquitous berries of North America, learn to make this sweet and nutrient dense treat.
Day 4
Empanadas: Pastry pockets with versions popular in Argentina, Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and beyond.
Picadillo: A rich filling found throughout Central and South America often made of beef and vegetables simmered in warming spices
Chimichurri: A blend of parsley, garlic, vinegar, a South American classic
Day 5
Texas Caviar: Make this picnic classic chock full of veggies, beans, and bright with lime
Deviled Eggs: Creamy and bite sized, the perfect bbq side dish.
Apple Crisp: A great American dessert, tart apples baked and topped with crunchy cinnamon oatmeal streusel topping.
A note about 2024 Food Lab summer camps: We're proud to announce updated kids programming with a focus on technique! We've adjusted our menus to create space for practice and engagement for the kids, truly empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to recreate these recipes at home and building a lifelong practice in the kitchen.
We do not have dairy free substitutions for this camp.
This class is designed for kids ages 6-12. If you have a 13 year old who is interested in camp, please reach out to events@foodlabboulder.com prior to booking.
