The inaugural Hilliard Short Film Festival will celebrate independent film-making and showcase local film and film-makers. Finalists will be juried by a panel of experts and prizes awarded in announced categories, with a day of screenings open to the public.  Enthusiasts and creators will enjoy networking, panel discussions, and a complementary visual arts exhibit, food, and music.

Presented at the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center in Downtown Hilliard with screenings & social activities at the Daniel B Vance Gallery and the Ken and Robin Brenneman Stage.  All films will meet and adhere to the commonly accepted film ratings no more than PG-13 as judged by film judges.  Each short runs between 3 and 10 minutes in length in any genre.

Break!  The theatre is in Hilliards DORA district, so you're welcome to BYO beverages and food or visit one of our food partners. 

Session Two:  Adult Exhibition
Seating starts 6:30pm
Short Films, 7-9pm
Awards following showing

The festival will be juried with prices provided as follows for both the youth and adult divisions.

• Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• The PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD chosen by audience ballot by those in attendance.
