The West Fargo Park District issues permits for food vendors based on facility and event needs, menu variety, and a first-come, first-served basis. The district reserves the right to limit or deny vendor participation at its sole discretion.
To reserve this food truck vendor rental, please enter your information below and submit your rental request. You will receive a pending reservation request e-mail and a receipt of payment.
Please note: The online application form does not include an option to upload documentation. Once you have submitted your information through the online form and made your payment, you must email all required documents to Rentals@wfparks.org to complete your application.
In the event you do not submit all required documents, and your request is not approved, your payment will be refunded.
Applications that are incomplete or missing documentation will not be considered.
Within 10 business days after required documents have been emailed, you will receive an e-mail approving or denying your rental request.
Required Documentation
To be considered for approval, vendors must submit the following:
- Full payment of all applicable fees
- Any required licenses or permits (Must include a health inspection)
- A complete menu or product list for review
- Certificate of Insurance (see insurance requirements below)
- Vendors must carry:
- Minimum $1,000,000 General and Product Liability insurance
- Certificate of Insurance listing West Fargo Park District as Additional Insured
Important Note About Scheduling:
Vendors may reserve as many dates as they'd like, but the system only allows one date per request to be submitted at a time. For each date, vendors will still need to fill out the online reservation form, but once we’ve received the required paperwork with the first rental, you won’t need to resubmit the supporting documents (like insurance, menu, or licenses) via email each time. We’ll keep that paperwork on file for one calendar year.
Once a vendor’s application and documentation have been reviewed and approved, they will receive a signed permit or separate contract. Permits are non-transferable and must be available on-site upon request. Vendors are also required to display the permit provided in the window of their food truck(s), so it is clearly visible.
Food Truck Vendor Rental at Dakota Park: 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Rental Fee: $25 Per Day (non-refundable)
However, if 10% of your total sales exceeds $25, you will be required to pay the difference. Permit fees are based on the greater of $25 or 10% of total sales, depending on the event, site, or park reservation.
Example: If you make $400 in sales, 10% would be $40. Since $40 is greater than the $25 reservation fee, you would owe an additional $15 after the event.
Vendors must submit a printed and dated record of their sales within 10 days after the event. If additional payment is due, an invoice will be issued and must be paid to the West Fargo Park District Foundation within 30 days.
Parking: In locations with limited parking, the Park District cannot guarantee available spaces nearby. Please plan accordingly when organizing your setup and schedule for the day. All vendor vehicles must comply with standard traffic laws and parking regulations.
