Basic Falconry Lesson

Experience the awe of free flying a raptor in the stunning setting of the San Diego Mountains! Participants will experience multiple flights of a hawk gliding across an open field to land gracefully on their glove. We play interactive training games, teaching techniques on how we build agility, strength, and trust with our birds. There is dedicated photo time with stunning mountain backdrops. Class includes an engaging, educational talk on raptor biology, conservation and the ancient art of falconry. This class is great for all ages and offered in small groups at the Sky Falconry Ranch in Alpine September through mid-July.

• Price:  $80 per Participant / $40 per Observer
• Booking fee per reservation $1-$5
• Duration:  1 hour 15 minutes
• Times: 8:30am, 10:30am & 1:30pm
• Age Minimum: 6yrs for participants
• NOTE: Wheelchair accessible, appropriate for all fitness levels.
