Special Event: Stoneware Pottery

What: Stoneware Pottery

Cost: $10 registration fee will be applied to the stoneware piece you select. Items range from $20+
Design your own stoneware mug!  Join us for a fun evening and create a custom stoneware piece to use in your home! In this class, guests will choose from over 70 glazes to create a one of a kind item. Stoneware glazes react to each other in unique ways when they reach peak temperature making each item unique! This means there are hundreds of combinations you can make from our glazes. No artistic ability is needed. Guests will be given thorough instructions on how to apply these specialty glazes. Guests will choose from a variety of design options such as mugs, bowls, casserole dishes & pie plates! 

Stoneware is so versatile! It is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. All mugs will be kiln fired at our studio. Our glazes are food safe. 

All supplies are included in the class. Aprons are available.

Requirements: Participants must be at least 12 years old or older. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Location: This class will be held at The Sweada Mae Art Cafe 287 W. Center St. Marion, OH

Pickup: Your stoneware pottery will be fired and available for picked up 7 days after the class.
