Clayful Zoo - Handbuilt Clay Animals

This camp will focus on creating animals of all kinds in clay! We will be making a variety of both sculptural animals and functional, food-safe ceramics with animal themes that campers can enjoy using at home. Instruction will include building and decoration axolotls, elephants, frogs, giraffes, and lions, and more. All pottery is clear-glazed after the first firing by technicians to make functional pieces food-safe. Our goal is to have clay projects fired and ready to be picked up 3-4 weeks after the class is held. Once the clay projects are ready, participants have 14 days to pick up their projects.
There will be a snack break approximately halfway through class each day. Included in your camp registration is 1 snack or drink per day. Students may bring cash to purchase additional snacks or drinks or bring their own additional snacks or drinks, if desired. Additional snacks and drinks are $1 each.
