Intro to Welding *Ladies Only Workshop*

This course is specifically designed to open more doors for folks who identify as women and are curious about welding. Whether you're a woman, femme presenting individual, or a trans-feminine person, join instructor Morgan Joyce to learn the basics of plasma cutting and welding in a fun and supportive, project-based class! Students will leave this 3-hour class with a decorative tealight candle lantern. No experience is required and all materials are included! 


This class will cover:

• Safety Gear and Protocol
•  Basic Metal Fabrication
•  Running the Plasma Cutter
• Running the MIG welder
• Tack Welding 

For comfort and safety, wear closed toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves made from natural fibers, such as cotton, denim, or linen. Please note that if you do not dress appropriately for this class you may not be able to fully participate and you will not receive a credit or refund.

There must be at least 2 participants for this class to occur. If there are not enough participants, we will email participants as close to 24hrs in advance as possible and remit refunds by the next business day.
