In this course students will be taught essential techniques and knowledge needed to confidently use acrylic paint! This course will cover basics such as color mixing, value scales, underpainting, and painting from life. As the course progresses students will expand on these skills through different projects. The projects in this class include:
1 Black And White One Object Study
1 Color One-Object Study
1 A 3-5 Object Still Life
1 Portrait Painting
- Students can work from their own photo or find a reference in RRAC magazines
1 painting utilizing the ‘grid technique’
- Students may use a magazine photo or bring reference from home YOU WILL BE DRAWING ON IT!
