Skills Covered
This class is an introduction to baking sourdough bread with the beginner or intermediate baker in mind. We'll focus specifically on creating and nurturing your own starter, proofing, shaping, and scoring techniques, and provide tips and tricks for improving your home baking experience. You will also have an introduction to scoring techniques on a loaf to bake in class and will leave with a shaped loaf in your (optional) new Banneton to bake at home.
Please note: if you do not opt for the Banneton bundle, please bring your own Banneton basket or mixing bowl to take your formed loaf home in.
Dietary Note: Gluten-free substitutions are not available for this class.
