Class Description:
Get cozy and comfy tonight, we’re cooking up some of your favorite Chinese restaurant classics. In this hands-on experience, you'll master the art of crafting celebrated Chinese dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors of traditional favorites. Your guide is our long-time instructor, Chef Sergio Lara, who has a passion for culinary education in global cuisine.
Tonight, you will be preparing a menu of comforting favorites, starting off with a must-have: the Crab Rangoon appetizer. We’ll take light wonton wrappers and fill them with crab and savory cream cheese mixed with scallions, onion, and garlic, and twisting into the iconic four-pointed star shape before frying them to a golden crisp.
For our main, we’re learning how to make a Chinese favorite: Orange Chicken, crispy fried chicken tossed in a fruity, sweet and tangy sauce that is cooked until it’s a caramelized glaze. And it wouldn’t be Chinese favorites if you didn’t have the Fried Rice. Tonight, you’re taking white rice, eggs, carrots, green onions, peas, and garlic, and sautéing them together with soy sauce, flavorful oyster sauce, and toasted sesame oil for a nutty and savory flavor finish.
As a side, we will have Wonton Soup with Dumplings. We’ll demonstrate how to create pillowy dumplings filled with pork or shrimp, along with the basics of creating a savory soup broth. Rounding out tonight’s menu, you will prepare Bok Choy, a common and versatile green used in many Chinese dishes. Sautéed to perfection with garlic and ginger, this bright vegetable is a perfect companion to the heavier mains.
To end your evening with Chef Sergio, he’s going to share a simple and light dessert of Ice Cream paired with an Almond Biscuit for a creamy and crunchy finish. Whether you're a seasoned home cook or a culinary enthusiast, this class promises to be fun night with delicious food!

- Please enjoy a 10% discount on all items in our retail store during the full calendar day/night of your class or event. Our retail store will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class.
- We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- Adults (18+). Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.

If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
