Brownies will earn this badge during our 2 hour workshop. They'll work through all the requirements by learning about the ancient custom of hand building in clay. Scouts (8+) will be guided by an art instructor step-by-step in creating a project. Next we'll learn glazing techniques to finish your pieces. Your troop will take a tour of the kilns and glazing room to learn about the firing process. The pieces will be dried and fired in about 2 weeks and leaders will receive a call when they're ready for pick-up. Pieces will be wrapped individually and then all pieces will be placed in a larger package for distribution to your troop.
Choose one project - the whole troop will make- through the check-out process. All supplies & tools are provided.Each project is $18 + tax per scout.If you would like us to provide badges, there will be an additional $3.75 each.A $50 Deposit will hold your date.
