Class Description
Tonight we're throwing you a dinner party, bring friends, family, your main squeeze or all of the above. You can't go wrong with tonight's show stopper - Salmon en Papillote (French for "in parchment paper") is a simple way to cook fish with aromatics all in a convenient pouch. Your guide is longtime instructor Chef Richard McPeake. Chef Richard is the Retired Lead Chef Instructor of Kansas City Kansas Community College Culinary Center Chef Instructor for 20 years and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He has won countless awards throughout his career including 14 Travel Holiday Awards and 2 Four Diamond Awards for Food Excellence and and the 2021 American Technical Education Association: Outstanding Technical Program Award for Culinary Arts.  Chef Richard will help you master the art of putting together an elegant menu fit for a holiday dinner party.

You’ll be greeted with an appetizer of Smokey Chipotle Cheese Fondue. The cooking fun begins as you tie on an apron and help Chef Richard prepare some of tonight’s dishes. We’ll start with Spring Greens with homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette. From there, we’ll move on to creating your entrée – Salmon en Papillote – that will be served with fresh, steamed Asparagus topped with Citrus Herb Butter. Finally, sit back and watch Chef Richard prepare Fresh Berries with French Zabaglione, one of his favorite desserts.

Chef Richard's class is accessible and repeatable so you can take your skills and new recipes home to create your own dinner party experience for friends and family.

• Please enjoy a 10% discount on all items in our retail store during the full calendar day/night of your class or event. Our retail store will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class. 
• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
• This class is for adults 18+. Children 14-17 years old are allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please let us know if you plan to bring a minor.

If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
