So much beautiful art can be made from odds and ends. Old books, unused toys, jars, toilet paper rolls, broken dishes, plastic containers… okay the list goes on forever… so many possibilities! This camp will explore mixed media techniques to create unique paintings on canvas, how to reuse 3D items to create sculptures, and broken or old ceramics to use in mosaic art. Campers are encouraged to gather items from home to bring in. Using materials that you have consumed or used in the past gives your artwork more personal meaning and more YOU.
There will be a snack break approximately halfway through class each day. Included in your camp registration is 1 snack or drink per day. Students may bring cash to purchase additional snacks or drinks or bring their own additional snacks or drinks, if desired. Additional snacks and drinks are $1 each.
