Students ages 10 and up Will Explore Various Mediums and Techniques
Sessions Held Thursdays 4:15-5pm
Session lengths vary; $15 per class
Description:
Studio class designed for artists ages 10 and up who are ready to explore the vibrant possibilities of chalk and oil pastels. In this hands-on course, students will experiment with blending, layering, texture, and color mixing while learning how to thoughtfully apply the elements and principles of art—including line, shape, value, contrast, balance, and movement. Finished projects will vary by student
Experience not required, however an interest in the arts aids success. Age exceptions may be considered at the instructors discretion.
Preregistration is needed. Students will register/ pay for each session individually. The session includes all art supplies.
(Please note session dates and lengths may vary and sessions may begin and end on different dates and skip holiday weeks.)
Session rates will be prorated if joining the session late with instructor's approval.
Studio doors will ten minutes prior to class start time.
Please be mindful that at times some projects will take more than one week to complete, so the number of completed projects may vary.

What to wear & bring:
Wear something to be “creative and messy” in, as all mediums are not easily washable. Art aprons are provided however they are not preferred by some artists and accidents happen.
All art supplies are provided by the studio.
Students should bring a water bottle/drink. A snack is also suggested.
