Teen Art Classes Age 13-15 October-December

Join us for our Teen Art class series!

This Class is for Age 13-15 : Experiment with contrast, learn to spot shadows, highlights and reflective light, improve your colour mixing abilities and get creative with story-telling. This 8-week course will give you the confidence to work in ink, watercolour, and acrylic paint on portraits, animals and more. We will help you create a final mixed-media masterpiece based on your choice of song lyric.

Length of classes: 2 hours
1.5 hours of class and an extra 30 minutes each class for those who need a bit more time to complete projects! - Never feel rushed!

We have selected a very Talented Saskatoon Artist to lead these classes!
Melanie is an artist and designer passionate about inspiring creativity in others. She enjoys painting oil landscapes outdoors and has experience working with various mediums, including acrylics, watercolours, inks, and fine-art pencils. Melanie has taught classes privately and for homeschool groups, and she also leads paint night events. She helps students uncover their potential, grow in confidence, and encourages them to make their own creative decisions. With a degree in Graphic Design, she brings her expertise in digital tools to the classroom, enriching students' learning alongside traditional art skills.
