Class Description
Join us for a hands-on breakfast bread baking class! These classics make a thoughtful gift, a perfect addition to brunch, or just an easy way to make mornings extra special.  In this hands-on class you will be guided by Executive Pastry Chef Catie Wiley, who joins us after a distinguished career as a pastry chef at several iconic patisseries and restaurants on the East Coast.

We’re starting with Buttermilk Biscuits, the gold standard of Saturday morning comfort foods. Chef Catie will show you how easy it is to get that perfect flaky, fluffy, and tender texture using just a handful of ingredients and perfecting your dough-mixing techniques. Next is a decadent Blueberry Scone with Lemon Glaze. These British baked goods are perfect for any morning or as a companion to tea-time. Chef Catie’s scones are crispy around the edges and tender in the middle. She’ll teach you how to jazz up a simple scone recipe with blueberries and a tart lemon glaze. Last is the classic morning muffin. We’re staying seasonal by adding fresh apples and topping our muffins with a crumbly streusel topping before baking.

Whether you're a novice baker or looking to refine your skills, this class will equip you with techniques you can use to impress at your next brunch or simply elevate your everyday breakfasts. Join us and start your day with the warm, comforting aroma of freshly baked goods!

• Please enjoy a 10% discount on all items in our retail store during the full calendar day/night of your class or event. Our retail store will be open for browsing prior to class, during any breaks, and after class. 
• We provide a full refund if you need to cancel more than three weeks prior to the start of a scheduled class. You will receive an Account Credit if you need to cancel at any time within three weeks but prior to the class start time. Please note that any refund issued for classes purchased using a Gift Certificate or Account Credit will result in reinstatement of the original Gift Card or Account Credit and will bear the same expiration date. Account Credits issued for cancelations within three weeks of a class will expire one year from the date of issuance. We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason, at any time, in which case you will receive a full refund.
• Family Friendly (5+) - All ages 5 and up welcome. Each child below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. 
• If (a) you’d like to sit with another registered guest, or (b) have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the Comments section of your registration after reading our full description of policies and information about classes. If you've registered with other people on the same order, you will automatically be seated together.
