Come join us for a fun and hands-on beginner-friendly leather workshop—no experience needed!
In this in-person class, you'll make your own simple journal cover—perfect for keeping your journal or notebook protected and looking great! You'll leave with a finished piece, printed instructions, and the confidence to make more on your own!
🧵 What You’ll Learn:
- Introduction to leather types and different options of leathers
- How to choose and cut a pattern
- Optional finishing techniques: simple stamping/tooling or painting.
- How to paint/dye, antique, and finish your leather
- Edge slicking and hand sewing techniques
- Step-by-step construction guidance
All supplies are provided, and this class is designed with absolute beginners in mind. You'll leave with a journal cover you're proud of—and the skills to keep creating! You can either bring a journal of your choosing to cover or one will be provided that you can take home and enjoy.
Please bring snacks or a lunch.
