Beginner Pottery Wheel Class - 101

Description:
We’ll guide you through the basic techniques of throwing clay on the pottery wheel. This one-session class is great for those who are trying out throwing on the pottery wheel for the first time or who want to refresh their skills.

Our small class size (max 5ppl) ensures personalized, hands-on instruction tailored to your skill level.

Included:
3 lbs of clay
Hands-on Instruction
Bisque Firing & Clear glaze Firing for one of your thrown vessels.

Some important info:

1. One (1)  fired and glazed piece is included in your class fee. If you take to wheel throwing like a fish to water and end up making 2 or even 3 vessels, there will be an additional $5 per vessel to bisque fire and clear glaze. 

2. If you'd like to glaze your vessels after bisque firing, you may book an open studio session to return and custom design your masterpieces. Otherwise, they will be dipped in a clear glaze. 

2. We suggest bringing an old towel to drape across your lap if you're averse to getting a little muddy. 

2. Please note, all participants must be at least 8 years old. No exceptions.  motor skills, attention span,  height, and maturity

3. Classroom space is for students only. Friends, family or guests may lounge in our cafe or paint in the main studio.
