In this 1.5 hour class, you will learn about how to mix and match the seasonal veggies and herbs. Chef Mark will select 3-4 combinations to share with you. Each "Seasonal Slaws and Salads" session will feature some different combinations drawing mostly from things we grow on the farm.
- Chef Mark will describe how these seasonal veggies and herbs are grown at Chocolates and Tomatoes Farm and why he picked these particular varieties to grow.
- He will demonstrate how to mix and match the seasonal veggies and herbs for many different salad and slaw combinations. They may be hot or cold combinations.
- You will have the opportunity to taste each of the seasonal ingredients before they are mixed together, and to taste each combination.
- You will receive a recipe and you will receive information to help you remember what you learned.
No cooking experience necessary.
We will have hot coffee and tea available, but feel free to bring other nonacoholic beverages with you.
