Depression Era Sewing

Inspired by the Depression Era women who sewed cotton feed bags into dresses, curtains, and other items, join staff from Carter Historic Farm and the BiG Fab Lab to sew modern feed bags from our farm into convenient grocery totes. All materials provided, as well as sewing machine instruction (some experience helpful but not required). A great way to up-cycle and create a unique piece from history!
