Builder DIY Camp is a hands-on creative experience designed for kids who love to build, construct, and make things with their hands.
Each day focuses on a different building project where campers will use real tools, materials, and maker techniques to create something they can take home. From construction-based crafts to simple engineering-inspired builds, this camp is all about creativity through making, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration.
This is a drop-in camp, so campers can register for one day or multiple days. Each session is a complete project experience with a finished creation by the end of the day.
Daily Themes:
Monday: Birdhouse Builders 🐦
Campers will design and construct their own wooden birdhouse using simple building techniques. They will learn basic assembly skills while customizing their finished piece with paint and design details.
Tuesday: Toy Car Workshop 🚗
Campers will build and design their own small wooden toy cars. They will explore structure, wheels, balance, and decoration while creating a fully functional take-home toy.
Wednesday: Marble Run Makers 🎢
Campers will design and build interactive marble runs using a mix of wood, cardboard, and construction materials. They will test structure, motion, and problem-solving as they refine their designs.
Thursday: Catapult Engineers 🏹
Campers will design and build their own working catapults while learning basic principles of force, tension, and motion. They will test, adjust, and improve their designs through playful experimentation and hands-on problem solving.
Friday: Candy Dispenser Builders 🍬
Campers will design and construct their own working candy dispensers using simple mechanical concepts. They will explore levers, release mechanisms, and structure as they build a functional and fun take-home creation.

📅 Dates: July 13–17, 2026
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
🎨 Suggested Ages: 8–13 years old
🎟 Drop-In Friendly: Each day features a complete building project, so campers may attend one or multiple days
🥪 What to Bring: Refillable water bottle + optional snack
🌞 Outdoor Time: Weather permitting, we’ll take a short break outdoors during snack time. Sun protection is encouraged.
