Being that we are located in a very old building, there are no elevators or escalators. The only way into the upstairs studio is to climb up 18 stairs. We are currently exploring options and funding to make this space more accessible for everyone.

In this 8-week class, students will delve into a plethora of drawing techniques, including contour lines, sketching, shading, and more. They will have the opportunity to explore various subject matters, such as still life, nature, perspective, self-portraits, and more. This class not only focuses on the technical aspects of drawing but also emphasizes the importance of truly observing and transferring one's observations onto paper. Join us as we embark on a journey of artistic discovery and mastery.
For kiddos to explore freely, we have a policy that parents aren’t in the classroom. We’ve also found that without guardians in the classroom, students have space to create more organic relationships and connections with others in the class. Parents or guardians may bring their student to the space and help them feel comfortable up to 10 minutes prior to the class start time, then guardians may sit outside of the classroom in our café or common area space. This way they are reachable if something comes up and the student is assured you are close by.
