An exciting week going back in time! We'll learn how to
write our name in the ancient language of Hieroglyphics. We'll cotinue our journey through time and use to clay to sculpt and design our own Canopic Jar (pottery commonly used by ancient Egyptians.)
We will be mixing and making our own colours with liquid clay and pigments from the earth. All materials are totally natural and washable.
Outdoors activities & games.
Special guests every week of the summer (Drama-Music-Crafts- Dance- etc.)
Pop corn parties and much more!
And of course CLAY-CLAY-CLAY...
Our experienced instructors will help your children explore and develop their creativity in our full day pottery summer camp. Children have the opportunity to choose the projects they create, and explore the entire creation process from hand building to throwing (spinning) on a pottery wheel to glazing (painting) their pottery.
Things to bring to Clay with Me summer camp:
Lunch bag with: lunch, a lot of snacks (please) and water bottle.
Sunscreen-hat-sunglasses-bathing suit and flip-flops
extra clothes and towels. (We will go to Christie pit outdoor pool). Once or twice during the week.
Please remember that it is a clay studio. They will be dirty from head to toes...all the time! :)

Age Disclaimer
Here at clay with me we believe “age is just a number”. We recognize and appreciate that maturity levels vary drastically between children and that your child’s age might not be the best indicator of their abilities. If your child wishes to participate in a session but they do not meet the minimum age requirements, do not fret! We are open to accepting them and would love to help work with you to determine whether or not taking part is the best decision for them.
