Its 'T minus 2 days' to Turkey Day! Be the 'Queen of Pies' on Thanksgiving when you walk in with your very own Homemade Pumpkin Pie. Join Chef Natasha Goellner (Pastry Chef at The Antler Room KC, founder of Mulberry & Mott on the Country Club Plaza) as you learn the right way to make flaky pastry dough and luscious pumpkin filling. And yes, we will learn how to create those precious 'cut-outs' to decorate your pie too. Let's get fancy! Come spend a cozy November morning and learn tips and tricks for pastry-making including types of flour, proportions of fats, how to mix ingredients (to ensure flakiness), proper rolling techniques, decorating tips and how to create a delicious filling that will have you dreaming of pies for days! Chef will share her baking secrets with you as you work alongside her to create the components for a classic, delicious pumpkin pie you can take home with you and bake for the Thanksgiving holiday.
