At Hammar’s Studios, we believe in the power of creativity to inspire and empower our youth. We are thrilled to introduce our Brushstrokes of Hope weekly painting classes—a free initiative designed to support New Hampshire’s youth. Thanks to a generous grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, this program aims to provide essential tools for children to navigate life’s challenges while fostering self-confidence, personal growth, and community connections.
About The Brushstrokes Weekly Art Program:
Are you ready to inspire your child to discover their inner artist? Enroll them in our exciting weekly art class specifically designed for kids aged 10-14! Here, they will embark on an incredible journey of self-expression, creativity, and personal growth through the magic of painting. Unlock your child's creativity & join today! All materials are included in this program.
What to Expect:
Explore Acrylic Medium: Your child will learn to paint with vibrant acrylics on a variety of canvases, allowing them to create unique and meaningful artwork that reflects their individuality and dreams. We’ll incorporate color theory, composition and perspective.
Guided by Passionate Instructors: Our dedicated instructors are not only talented artists but also passionate mentors who provide personalized support to each participant. They foster an encouraging and inspiring atmosphere where every child can thrive.
Make New Friends: Your child will be a part of a vibrant community of young artists, fostering bonds and friendships through shared creativity and support.

Eligibility: Youth aged 10-14, current residents of New Hampshire, prior completion of ONE of the 1 day Brushstrokes of Hope workshops.

How does this work?
Participants will kick off their journey by attending one of the one-day Brushstrokes of Hope workshops, featuring therapeutically-informed activities that encourage creativity and self-expression. Upon completion, participants will be eligible for ongoing weekly art classes and exciting community mural projects!
About Hammar's Studios: Located in Southern New Hampshire, Hammar’s Studios brings over 40 years of experience in arts education, providing a safe and supportive environment for families to explore and express themselves through art.
Attendance Information:
Drop Off/Pick Up: Drop-off is permitted 10 minutes before the start of the program (3:50 PM) and pick-up is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
