Adult Intro to Clay (5 Week) THURSDAY - Winter 2024

Adults of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join our Adult Clay Classes! Enjoy demonstrations by our expert artists, emphasizing proper technique and displaying the many possibilities open to potters. Our teachers guide students through the process of improving specific skills and developing their overall approach to function and design. All participants can create their own unique pieces and are encouraged to take what they’ve learned and run with it!

Each session offers a chance to explore the process of:
– Throwing on the potter’s wheel
– Hand building/Sculpting (including coil/slab building and more)
– Surface decoration (with slips, underglazes and glazes)
 
COST: $325+ HST for a 5 week session. Fee includes all materials (clay, tools, professional glazes, kiln firings). Classes run from January 18th - February 15th, 2024.
