Orientation: Jewelry Lab 101: Bench Tools

This introductory level class will cover how to properly use a jeweler's bench and the common tools that are used at a bench while practicing cutting and bending wire, using a jeweler’s saw to pierce-cut sheets of brass and copper. This class is a prerequisite for all additional classes/tool areas in the jewelry lab unless otherwise noted.

Plan Your Visit

All materials and safety equipment supplied.  Closed-toed shoes, long sleeved shirts, natural fibers (cotton, denim, linen), with long hair pulled back. Plan to arrive for class about 10-15 min early and check in at the front desk.  Our main entrance is on State Street, with parking lot entrance on State St. as well. IF parking and street parking available.
