Intermediate Pottery Wheel Adult Class, May 20-June 17, 2023

Saturdays, 9:30am-11:30am (including cleanup)

We are happy to offer a class for intermediates in order to build your skills on the wheel.  This class is for those who have achieved some mastery of basic throwing skills and are ready to move on to more complex techniques such as throwing off the hump, making larger pieces from two parts, and throwing and assembling non round forms. 
Demonstrations will cover pitchers, lidded vessels, and bottle forms.  We will begin by throwing taller cylinders since they are the foundation for all the above projects.  Be prepared to practice, practice, practice as you grow your skills!!   Class meets once a week for five sessions.  $300  includes up to 25 lbs of stoneware clay.  Additional clay is $3 per pound and includes all firing.  No outside clay.

Booked session and missed classes are non-refundable. We try to be flexible with a make-up within the five week session if we have availability, but we are not able to accommodate make up classes after the five week course has ended.
