We are excited to offer a wheel program for kids at Wish, open to kids in grades 5-8. Students are welcome to come weekly or drop in. New students will learn the basics of centering and throwing, and returning students will be able to refine their technique as well as learning to trim, carve, attach handles, and glaze. Wheel throwing is great for students who need some more tactile activities, instead of screens. All sessions include one fired piece and the use of up to 4lbs of clay. Class sizes are small- only 4 per session. Students who sign up for multiple sessions will have their own area where they can store their works-in-progress.
Wheel club is a kids only drop-off class. If you are interested in multiple classes, copy and paste this link to see our subscription packages: https://square.link/u/WF9g1Xd7 This online reservation platform charges a fee that goes directly to them, not to Wish. If you'd like to skip the fee, you can sign up in person at the studio. If your student is outside of the grades listed, please give the studio a call before signing them up.
