Learn to Create Sand Mandala
Join sand-artist Katie Jo Suddaby to learn the ancient art of Tibetan Sand Painting. This class will cover the basic techniques and history of this rare and beautiful at form. Sand mandalas (round works of art made of thousands of grains of colorful sand) are impermanent, so you can't take them home. But participants will receive a high resolution photo of their work and the tools to continue to practice at home. This art form is relaxing, meditative, and easy to learn.
