In this 8-week class students will explore patterns and design using a variety of printmaking techniques. Students will learn about and explore various techniques of mono-printing, monotype, collagraphy and linocut. Students will learn to layer their prints to make complex and intriguing artwork. At the end of the class students will learn how to make an accordion book that some of their prints will be incorporated into for a final project. This is a fun expressive class for both beginners and those who have taken printmaking before.
