Date Night: Pen Turning 6:00 - 10:00 pm

It's a Date! In this class, you and your partner will learn how to mount pen blanks on the lathe, turn the pen barrels and apply a finish. The instructor will demo and review the process. The final step will be assembling the pen. Adult beverages to be served upon completion of the class.

Plan Your Visit
All materials and safety equipment supplied.  Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants to participate, and sturdy footwear (e.g. tennis shoes or boots) is recommended. Natural fiber clothing is recommended (e.g. cotton, denim). Plan to arrive for class about 10-15 min early and check in at the front desk. Please park in the Gravity garage. The entrance is on State St at Lucas, between the Gravity building and the railroad bridge. Bring your garage ticket to class for validation.
