Explore the many possibilities of creating with clay off the wheel in this welcoming 5-week handbuilding class. Whether this is your first time working with clay or you’re looking to expand your skills with new techniques, this course offers both foundational and advanced methods to inspire your creativity.
You’ll learn essential hand building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction, while also experimenting with surface textures and decorative elements. Perfect for all skill levels, the class encourages hands-on exploration and individual expression.
You'll receive 1 Open Studio session each week for the duration of the class (5 total). All wet clay work must be completed during your last class. All glazes, firings, and one 25 lb bag of clay are included—just bring your creativity and dedication!
