Summer Camp : Nature Lab (Half Day 4-5 yrs)

Camp Policies & Important Information Payment & Refund Policy Payment is due in full at the time of registration to secure your child’s spot. Because we purchase supplies and plan staffing based on enrollment, registrations are generally non-refundable. However, for camps paid in full, a refund (minus any credit card booking/service fees) may be issued if a written refund request is received at least FOUR (4) weeks prior to the camp start date. If something unexpected arises, we kindly ask families to consider offering their spot to a friend or family member when possible. Technology & Personal Devices A big part of our program is creativity, connection, and social interaction. Please keep personal gaming devices at home. We understand that some children bring cell phones for safety reasons; however, we ask that camp time be a no-texting, no-phone-use environment. Campers will be asked to put phones away during activities. Liability & Photo Release While children are in the care of Art Haven staff, we take every reasonable precaution for their safety. However, Art Haven and its agents are not responsible for sickness, accident, or injury. By registering, families consent to the use of their child’s photo or likeness for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing materials). If this is a concern, please notify us in writing before the start of camp. Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Daily Schedule Full-day camps run 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Prompt drop-off and pick-up are required unless your child is registered for before/after care. Food & Allergies Daily snack and Friday pizza lunch are included. If you choose to send your own food, please note: All food brought from home must be nut-free Camp fees remain the same even if you choose not to participate in provided food Clothing & Artwork Please send children in comfortable clothing that can get messy — we create, explore, and have fun! Campers will take artwork home throughout the week. Any remaining pieces must be picked up within a reasonable time. Art Haven will hold artwork for a maximum of 8 weeks. Illness Policy If your child is experiencing cold, flu, or contagious symptoms, please keep them home. This helps us keep all campers and staff safe. Outdoor Time When weather permits, campers may enjoy outdoor walks or park visits nearby. Children are always supervised by staff and are not taken onto busy roads. If you have concerns about outdoor activities, please let us know before your camp week begins. Waiver of Liability & Assumption of Risk Art Haven is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for all participants. However, families acknowledge that participation in art activities, movement, and group programs involves inherent risks, and that accidents, injuries, or illness may occur despite reasonable precautions. By registering for camp, you acknowledge and agree that: Your child is participating voluntarily You understand that minor injuries, accidents, or illness can occur in group program settings You release and hold harmless Art Haven, its owners, employees, contractors, and volunteers from liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur while your child is in our care, except in cases of proven negligence This waiver applies to all activities that occur: Inside the studio During supervised outdoor time During any walks to nearby parks or areas During drop-off and pick-up periods If your child has any medical conditions, behavioral needs, or support requirements that we should be aware of, please notify us in writing before the start of camp.
