Session Class: Fantastic Beasts ages 10+

Students will suspend their disbeliefs and push their imaginations to discover a hidden world of fictional creatures and mythological beasts that are both new and old. In this class, students will create finished works of art using multiple drawing and painting techniques. From ink drawing to watercolor painting, students will learn to create art that looks like a page torn from an ancient book of creatures. They will be taught how to appropriately reference pictures of modern day animals, as well how to find inspiration in fantasy illustrations by master artists. All students who enter are destined to create their own fantastic beasts that will surely become the stuff of legend.
