This popular workshop gives you an opportunity to try the potter's wheel with provided instruction in a laid back environment. It's a great one time event for a date night or group of friends. You will have a couple balls of clay to work with, and everyone gets to keep one of their creations. If you would like to have your piece glazed and fired, you can pick the glaze color. One of the Studio Monkeys will glaze your pot. You may return to pick up your finished product after three weeks. Clay, glaze and firing are all provided.
Fair warning: playing with clay is delightfully addictive, especially when shared with friends! Luckily, with our classes, events, workshops, and Open Studio, your Calapooia Clay crew will always keep the good times (and clay) spinning.
