Whisk, mix, roll, and decorate your way through the sweetest week of summer in this fun-filled, hands-on baking camp designed just for kids. Join for the full 5-day experience or choose individual days — each session features new recipes, creative challenges, and delicious treats to make and take home.
Young bakers will learn the fundamentals of baking in a lively, supportive kitchen environment as they create cookies, cupcakes, brownies, breads, and more. Guided step-by-step by our chefs, campers will build confidence while mastering measuring, mixing, decorating, and working safely with kitchen tools and equipment.
This camp is all about creativity, discovery, and pride in making something from scratch. Expect flour-dusted aprons, colourful icing, warm ovens, and lots of smiles as kids develop real baking skills while having an unforgettable summer experience.
Perfect for beginners, budding pastry chefs, or any child who loves sweets and hands-on fun in the kitchen.
What's Included

- Lunch - since they'll be baking up a storm, we'll provide a balanced lunch for them to enjoy in our dining room. Lunches will be "Chef's Choice" and may include tacos, pasta, sandwiches, pizza, veggies, and other tasty favourites!

🍦 Monday: Cinnamon Rolls and Savoury Scones
- Cinnamon Rolls
- Basic scone recipe with a choice to add cheese and chives
- Lunch and snacks
🥐 Tuesday: Chocolate Cream Pie & Whipped Cheesecake Jars
- Pie pastry
- Homemade chocolate pudding pie filling
- Whipped no-bake cheesecake with mix and match layers in a jar
- Lunch and snacks
🥧 Wednesday: Cream Puffs & Chocolate Eclairs
- Choux pastry
- Chantilly cream
- Vanilla pastry cream
- Chocolate ganache
- Lunch and snacks
🍰 Thursday: Cake Baking and Decorating
- 6" Funfetti Cake
- Swiss Meringue Buttercream frosting
- Garnish bar for decorating (sprinkles etc.)
- Lunch and snacks
🍩 Friday: Glazed Donuts and Cinnamon Sugar Mini Donuts
- Mini yeast donuts tossed with cinnamon sugar (like at the carnival!)
- Cake donuts
- Glaze of choice (vanilla, chocolate, etc.)
- Sprinkles to decorate!
- Lunch and snacks
Need to drop them off early? No problem, doors open at 9 AM. Campers can hang out with us until we start baking at 9:30 AM.
Dietary Note: The recipes contain gluten, dairy, and eggs. Substitutions are not available. Lakehouse Kitchens is not a nut-free environment.

The Fine Print
- Kitchen appropriate attire is mandatory. Please make sure your camper is wearing closed-toed shoes or socks and sandals, and has their hair tied back.
- Lunch & snacks are provided - our program is designed for the campers to bring home the desserts they create so we'll provide a healthy balanced lunch and snacks to keep them fueled during camp.
- It is recommended they bring a reusable water bottle to fill at our water stations throughout the day.
