Cooking Couples Wine and Dine - Modern Mediterranean

Join Chef Jenifer Murray, DWSET for a journey into a modern Mediterranean way of eating. Although olive oil, fish, whole grains and legumes are a big part of the traditional Mediterranean way of eating, the class will also incorporate ingredients or spice blends you may not be as familiar with. And since red wine (in moderation) is also part of the Mediterranean diet pyramid, 3 different types of red wine will be tasted with a discussion aout red wine and its potential benefits.

Recipes include:

  • Citrus, Arugula and Burrata Salad with a White Balsamic Honey Vinaigrette
  • Hawaij-Seasoned Chicken with a Preserved Lemon and Greek Yogurt Sauce
  • Mediterranean Couscous with Black Eyed Peas, Scallions and Pomegranate Molasses
  • Salmon Cakes Topped with Fresh Dill, Sumac and Labne
  • Individual Almond Flour cakes with Fresh Berries
