Mud on Main Week Long Camps

Join us for a special week long camp at Mud on Main! We will be creating an assortment of art project throughout the week using clay and sometimes paint. There is two types of camps being run. This camp will be located at 423 N. Main Street Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

June 22nd-June 26th- Week Long Skills Camp using Clay (Ages 7-17) This camp is…

A portion of this camp will be dedicated to learning hand-building skills while engaging in various projects - from pinch pots, coil builds to sculpting techniques.
The other portion of skills camp will be focusing on wheel throwing. Campers will learn the use of various tools and focus on skill building with height and shaping.
Campers will have brainstorming and goal setting opportunities to help them drive their own projects based on interest.

July 13th-July 17th - Week long Game Camp (Ages 10-17)
This camp is for the kids who want to create their favorite games. We will be creating these games out of mostly clay and other materials!

Making various classic games (tic tac toe, puzzles, checkers/chess) out of clay
Partnering with Adventure Games and Hobby for campers to explore different game types and world building tips
Each camper will get to build their very own board game/world. Campers will get their own laser cut board, style of their choosing, and other various supplies to create their game.
We will utilize various brainstorming activities to assist with their game building throughout the week.

August 10th-August 14th Week Long Skills Camp using Clay (Ages 10-17) This camp is dedicated to creating with clay and becoming more skilled in the projects you are doing.

The other portion of skills camp will be focusing on wheel throwing. Campers will learn the use of various tools and focus on skill building with height and shaping.

Camp will run 9:00AM - 3:00PM Monday-Friday. The entire week will be dedicated to creating art, and creating designs for experiments.

The cost of camp is $292. You can add on a lunch for $12 for any number of the camp days or campers can bring their own. We will enjoy lunch and get some fresh air outside when weather permits. We encourage campers to bring their own water bottle for camps.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please read our policy

Camp activities will include painting, sanding wood, wheel throwing, working with glass, mixing paint, and going outdoors. We will give guidance and supervision with each activity, but we will not be responsible for accidents that happen. In order for camp to be enjoyable for all campers, the instructors and for our walk-in customers that may be painting in the studio during camp, appropriate behavior and participation is expected. In the event that your child becomes disruptive or uncooperative, we will contact you and your child will be excused for the day. No refund will be given for that session. During camp we sometimes explore other businesses, camps, or travel for field trip purposes. By agreeing to this policy you approve of your child traveling outside of Fire Escape with an instructor to these locations. Please provide your child with sunscreen if you feel it is necessary. If your child has allergies please make our instructors aware at pick up. If they need an epi pen please make sure they carry it with them, and inform instructors so if we travel away from the studio we can make sure they have it on them. Payment in full is expected at the time of registration. We accept credit/debit cards online. You can call or also pay in store. We will do our best to complete every project scheduled. Projects are subject to change depending on supply availability and the time it takes for students to complete each project within the time frame. If your child does not finish during the scheduled time, he/she can return during regular business hours to complete the project up to 2 months after camp. After this time frame we cannot guarantee we will have the supplies anymore. Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your child so that we can stay on schedule. If you are going to be late in picking up your child, please notify us as soon as possible at 920-420-0700. Also, please note that if you are late in picking up your child by 15 minutes or more, we will need to charge you a $15 “Child Care Fee” unless we agree upon an arrangement prior to camp. Your child could get messy. Please be sure that he/she is dressed accordingly. Pottery and Glass Fused projects will take about 7-10 days for the firing process. We will contact you when the projects are ready for pick up. Only registered students can stay in the designated area for Art Camp. This is meant to be a fun & educational experience for your child and other campers.
