This is a 2 week fundamentals class is for the absolute beginner who wants to learn the basics of watercolor! In this 2 week class we will cover brush stroke techniques, layering techniques, and the nuts and bolts of how watercolor functions that so many people struggle with. We'll play with different materials and techniques and by the end of the class we will complete a multi layer painting implementing what we learned. Additionally, all students will go home with a small watercolor palette to practice with at home! Students are also welcome and encouraged to bring any watercolor supplies they already have if they would like some guidance on how to best use them if they've been nervous and unsure about trying them on their own. There are so many fun and free-ing ways to paint with watercolor and we will sample as many as we can so you have a firm footing to build off of should you decide you want to pursue watercolor further!

Instructor Bio:
Belle is a local artist who loves painting, pretty skies, cats, and all different types of flowers and plants. She has been painting with watercolor since 2017 and been an artist all her life. She enjoys selling her art work in person at markets and events, in addition to her online shop.
