Learn basic techniques, how pastels and paper work together, about the types of pastels and how to use them. You will learn how to create a basic palette and mix colors. By the end of the 5-week session, you will have worked on several pastel paintings, both still-life and florals from live set ups and a landscape from photographs. Also, with the supply fee comes access to a wide variety of materials and papers to try out and experiment with so you’ll know what to buy when the time comes. Perfect for beginners and as a refreshment course for people who have worked with pastels, with Lynette, other teachers or on their own.
Meets for 5 weeks, 3 hours per class. Limited to 6 students.
