Wine Glass Experience with Riedel Glassware - $125.00

Join us in a unique sensory experience of a comparative Riedel Wine Glass tasting. We will guide you through a fun and educational event, which will show the effect that the shape and size of a glass has on our perception and enjoyment of wine.

Each participant will receive a Veloce Riedel Tasting Set ($185 value) to use through the wine tasting and take home.

With the use of four Riedel Veloce glasses, you can see why shape matters for yourself. This series is the first designed by Georg and Maximilian Riedel, the 10th and 11th generations. RIEDEL Veloce is an impressive development based on state-of-the-art technology. The weight of RIEDEL Veloce is remarkable and has been reduced considerably from that of the Extreme collection. The perfect balance and feel which suggests a handmade glass.

Maximilian Riedel selected the Italian name "Veloce", meaning "fast", in reference to the modern machine technology that makes it possible to bring a glass that is handmade, in so many aspects, onto the machine and produce it quickly and in large quantities. An homage to technology, as glassmaking by hand has become a declining craft.

During the class, these four glasses will be varietally matched to four premium wines:

• Sauvignon Blanc
• Chardonnay
• Pinot Noir/Nebbiolo
• Cabernet Sauvignon
