Kiln-Fired Glaze vs. Acrylic Paint – Which Will You Choose?

Kiln-Fired Glaze (Recommended!) – The best way to make a lasting memory! Kids choose from hundreds of ceramic pieces, including fun figurines AND functional dinnerware like plates, mugs, and bowls—perfect for everyday use! Their masterpieces are glazed, fired in our kiln, and ready for pick-up the following Thursday. Parents can pick them up all together, or guests can stop by individually.

Bonus: Kiln-fired glaze washes right off skin and clothing—no stains! So you can relax and let the kids enjoy painting without worrying about messy mishaps.

Acrylic Paint – Want to take it home the same day? Acrylic-painted pieces have a brush-on gloss glaze and optional glitter. Acrylic parties can also choose pre-drawn canvases to paint.
(Heads up: Acrylic paint can stain clothing, so dress accordingly!)

Why choose kiln-fired glaze? Not only do the projects come out with a super shiney gloss, but if your child paints a plate, mug, or bowl, it becomes a functional keepsake that can actually be used! Plus, no stained clothes—just happy kids and beautiful artwork!

Food & Drinks

You're welcome to bring gifts, cake, drinks, and decorations! If bringing food, we suggest easy options like pizza to maximize painting time. Don’t forget plates, cups, and utensils!

Parents & Guests

We charge for All children attending the party, regardless of whether they choose to paint. This includes siblings or any other children present at the event.

Set-Up & Decorations Your party room will be available 15 minutes before your event for setup. Feel free to bring decorations to make the space extra special!

Waiver Information

All sales are final. No refunds or account credits. We understand things come up. We are happy to move your event to another date ONE time with at least a 7 day notice. Cancelation is not final till you redirected the new date confirmation. You must choose from dates available at time of cancellation for us to be able to move the event. You may be asked to do the same project if supplies have been purchased or canvases traced. We are only able to do this in person or by phone. We do not accept cancelations by email, social media or answering machine messages unless you receive a confirmation back from us. If you are not able to choose a date to re schedule at the time of cancelation you would lose the payment. Refunds are not offered. In the event of an approved exception, a $15 processing fee may apply to cover transaction costs. If you feel like you will not be able to drive safely because of weather or are not feeling well please call us to move event to another date at least 48 hours ahead. No shows will not be given a credit or the ability to move to another class. We consider someone a no show if they do not arrive after 30 minutes of event start time. We reserve the right to cancel an event due to weather or an emergency. Please dress for mess: class can get a little messy but, hey that is part of the artistic fun. Art Escape will not be held responsible for damaged clothing or personal items due to paint. To keep a relaxed atmosphere at Art Escape we do not allow personal music, noisemakers or pinatas. Thank you for understanding. We do ask that all children under 18 at the event paint a project. Party will be charged regular price for any non-painting children. We allow 2 adult per child to stay in the party room. Additional guests are asked to paint a project with the party.
